After School Activities (ASA)
The Elementary After-School Activity Program is “child centered”, and offers a wide range of choices each trimester. The focus of the program is to enhance the students learning through school related activities. The activities begin after school and run until 4:00 p.m. once a week. These classes are run by teachers, parents and others in the community. For teachers, this is an opportunity to interact with students in a more relaxed atmosphere than the classroom setting. For parents, this is a chance to share their expertise and have fun at the same time.
Included are some examples of activities:
C.A.R.E. Club: Animals
C.A.R.E. Club Recycling
Paper Mache Masks
Study Club - where kids come together and do homework or get help with certain subjects.
If you are interested in knowing more about the program or you are willing to offer an after school activity, please contact the program director Zach McCabe at this email address: email@example.com
