After School Activities (ASA)
The Elementary After-School Activity Program is “child centered”, and offers a wide range of choices each trimester. The focus of the program is to enhance the students learning through school related activities. The activities begin after school and run until 4:00 p.m. once a week. These classes are run by teachers, parents and others in the community. For teachers, this is an opportunity to interact with students in a more relaxed atmosphere than the classroom setting. For parents, this is a chance to share their expertise and have fun at the same time.
Included are some examples of activities:
C.A.R.E. Club: Animals
C.A.R.E. Club Recycling
Paper Mache Masks
Journal Writing
Line Dancing
Oriental Dance
French Club
Spanish Club
Arabic Club
Robots
Environmental Club
Board Games

Rockets
Study Club - where kids come together and do homework or get help with certain subjects.
