MS Intramurals
Get Involved, Have Fun, and Play Hard!
ASD offers an exciting intramural program for all Middle School
students. The focus of our intramurals program and house-activities is
to provide fun, low-level competition for lots of students. While
building a dynamic atmosphere and a strong sense of community,
individual students will also have the chance to explore and excel in a
variety of activities, acquire new experiences, and develop both
interpersonal and intrapersonal skills.
Students will have the opportunity to participate in intramural
sports and house-activities during their S.W.A.T. period each week, as
well as on specially designed Field Days that involve the entire Middle
School student body.
ASD Intramurals 2008-09
Some of the activities being offered during the 2008-2009 school year
include:
Beach Ball, Volleyball, Outdoor Soccer, Academic Jeopardy, Basketball,
Indoor Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, Spelling Bee and Flag Football
Each and every student is assigned to one of five House Teams
within the Middle School. These House Teams then compete throughout the
school year as they vie for the coveted House Trophy. Our 5 House Teams
are:
Wyvern, Magnus, Draconis, Saphira Lindorm
